Eligibility Criteria for Constables:
Educational Qualification: Candidates should have passed Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognised board.
Sports Qualification: Players who have participated in any International Sports event as a member of the Indian Squad for last 01 (one) year and players who have won one or more medals in any National Game/Championship recognised by Indian Olympic Association (IOA), Sports Federation (of concerned sport) for last 01 (one) year i.e. in between 01-04-2016 and 31-03-2017.
Age Limit (as on 01-01-2017): Minimum 18 years and Maximum 23 years
Age of Relaxation:

3. OBC candidates 8 years
4. Candidates who had ordinarily been domiciled in the State of J&K during the period from 1st January 1980 to 31st December 1989 5 years (General) / 8 years (OBC) / 10 years (SC/ST)
5. Children and dependents of victims killed in the 1984 riots OR communal riots of 2002 in Gujarat 5 years (General) / 8 years (OBC) / 10 years (SC/ST)
Selection Process: Selection of candidates will be made on the basis of the Physical Standard Test, Documentation and Written Examination.
Application Fee: General and OBC candidates have to pay Rs. 100/- through IPO/Demand Draft/Banker Cheque. SC/ST and Female candidates do not have to pay any fee.
